ABSTRACT: Innovations in Integrating Artificial Intelligence into Vocational Curricula is an evolving subject crucial for modernizing educational systems to meet the demands of the future workforce. This study examined how artificial intelligence (AI) can be effectively incorporated into vocational curricula. The objectives were: to identify current innovations in AI applicable to vocational education, to evaluate the effectiveness of these innovations in enhancing vocational training, and to determine the challenges and solutions in integrating AI into vocational curricula. A survey design was chosen for its ability to gather detailed insights from a broad sample within a short period. A sample size of 250 vocational educators and students was selected using purposive sampling to include those directly engaged with AI tools and technologies. The case study focused on the Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu, Lagos State. Findings indicated that AI integration had significantly improved learning outcomes by providing personalized learning experiences, enhancing practical training through simulations, and offering real-time feedback. However, challenges such as lack of infrastructure and insufficient training for educators were noted. It was recommended that institutions should invest in AI infrastructure, provide continuous training for educators, and collaborate with tech companies to facilitate the integration of AI into vocational curricula.
